Suzanna grew up with the language and the music of Russia. Many of her songs she learned from her grandmother and her mother who was born in Baku and grew up in Russia. Suzanna travelled a great deal. She has a passion for Paris where she performed with immigrants in public squares, cafes and finally in theatres and clubs. She also lived for some time in Barcelona. Now she stays in Berlin where she gave her first concerts in 1989.

Berlin
proved to be the right city for her German songs in a cabaret program
with Karsten Troyke, but also for French chansons, Russian romances
and Gypsy songs. She performs with variety of musicians who play
a variety of instruments. A special attraction is Andrej Sur from
Jekaterinenburg who masters his violin with so much feeling that
he invariably enchants his listeners. Michael Jach from Berlin plays
the contrabass and dancec with it. Constantin Popov of St. Petersburg
is an outstanding interpreter of traditional as well as classical
guitar music and Ilja Kurtjev from Odessa performs like the very
devil on his accordion. They all enhance with their music Suzanna
s deep and perspective each time.
